picspam II

I did this picspam.. thing when I was still in México, almost a year and a half ago. Now, so many months later, and another year behind me, I think it would be cool to breathe, chill and do it all over again : ) plans, opinions and likings change so much in so little time, after all. So here we go !

Day 01 - A picture of yourself with fifteen facts.

1. I really, really, REALLY wish it would be somehow possible to connect all the people I know from around the world in one same place!!!

2. it's almost the autumn of 2013..and no, I will not be going to a Mexican University as I originally thought

3. since I couldn't finish high school yet (come on, it's free, I want to enjoy it)

4. plus I'm not sure if México is the place to be. I mean, I love it, always will (it stole a big chunk of my heart), but..

5. in the end, the world is such a big place, there's things to see everywhere !

6. I find it so weird, I feel at home almost anywhere

7. except in the country I currently live in

8. I guess my love for México isn't tied to the one country, I think it's the whole latinos -thing that caught me

9. since it's the first time I feel a part of something, like there are people like me, and I don't have to hide parts of my personality because they don't apply with the normal rules :')

10. this year felt like another exchange. I made so many AFS friends - USA, Costa Rica, Argentina, Chile, France, Italia...

11. so, it made it even more clearer to me, everything I want to be !

12. so I guess I've become more mature since I've learnt to have some control over my life, my personality, my wants&needs..

13. but I still feel like a little child inside :D the littlest things give me so much happiness it's crazy !

14. I've been working all year long (telemarketing, shops, babysitting, office jobs), at the best I had 3 jobs at the same time

15. so I'm going for new adventures in just one week, can't wait!!!!

honestly???

Happened some time ago: a man was caught from taking pictures&video stream of what's in between his 8-year-old step daughter's legs. All he got charged for was "violating privacy laws" or something because the Finnish court decided that his little photo shoot didn't hurt the child's growth, since she wasn't awake during it.

Well, excuse me, but THE FUCK'S WRONG WITH OUR SOCIETY????????

The girl was 8 years old. Of course she'll know eventually (probably does already - her step father went to court and it was pretty much all over the newspapers. She'd have to be blind or live in a carton box in the middle of nowhere to not know about it.) And OF COURSE it leaves a scratch in her growth. Her relationship with men. Authoroty figures. The image of a marriage, or a stable relationship. And it goes on.

I hate this in Finland. The laws are so sick and twisted. How can they let the man get away with this?????? It's like saying "it's perfectly alright to photograph your step daughter's private parts 'CAUSE WE WON'T FUCKING CHARGE YOU WITH ANYTHING. So please, go ahead, you'll pretty much get away with it."

No one should get away with having touched (or in this case, documented to the endless word of gigabytes and techonological information) somebody without their permisson. Harming them. Shaming them. That's sick.

SEXUAL CRIMES ARE THE WORST ONES OF ALL.

Everybody has the right to remain untouched. ESPECIALLY children.

It's the same thing with rapists. If a woman gets raped, there's suddenly a whole lot of excuses. "She provoced me." "She first said yes, it wasn't my fault." "She was dressed like a slut, what was I supposed to think?"

You were supposed to believe no means no. Always. Why do we have to teach our women how to dress and act instead of teaching our men NOT TO RAPE?

End sexual crimes. Or atleast, for the love of God, make the consequenses as severe as the crime actually is.

...and that's who i am

To be honest, at first I didn't understand all these tumblr "and that's who I am" posts, but I guess they're a good way to sort some stuff out. So, here we go ! A tumblr picspam.

I guess these pics give you some kind of idea of who I am. (Probably should've added the 'I'm disorganized' one too..) Anyways, hope you guys are ok ! I'll continue writing as soon as my inspiration comes back and I get 20 extra hours per day...
